Temporary protective styles help maintain your coils. A protective style is typically a style like 2 strand twist or braids that you don't take down for 2-3 weeks. Once you take down your 2 strand twist or braids you can wear it in its natural state for 2 or 3 days or comb through it shampoo and condition your hair (comb again with conditioner in it) Rinse and get a good leave-in conditioner to apply to your hair; a good oil to coat the strands and a cream (or butter) on top of that. Depending on how thick and dry your hair is depends how much you should apply. Trail and error is a. good teacher.
If you have followed my instruction for at least 6 months and you have been coming in for your treatments and trims you'll notice your hair is thicker and fuller holds moisture and you don't know what to do with it. Remember: your stylist is always willing to try new things but you have to be open minded and embrace new styles. Also, you may screenshot any styles you think will be complimentary to your life-style. In the end it's your hair so make sure it's something you can carry with confidence!
